In the following article we will discuss the relatively new creative process known as manifesting. What is manifesting? And can we learn abundance? Manifesting is all about embracing the abundance that life affords each and every one of us. Abundance means getting everything that we possibly can out of life and not settling for things that will help us simply survive or things others expect out of us. While this process does include a number of set techniques, it is also highly adaptable and can be tailored to suit the needs of any individual.

Manifesting is more of a philosophy of life than a set of self-help guidelines. It is about achieving all of one’s dreams and aspirations both personal and professional. Modern times are often confusing and overwhelming and present obstacle to be overcome.

You can have abundance. Life seems overwhelming to many of us. Our dreams appear to be unobtainable. The hopes of our child lie like dust in the corner of our hearts. Too early in life, many people follow a path that is not their true desire and compromise too often in their life choices. Life is full of choices and sometimes we cannot have what we want. But persistence pays off in the end. All the great people of the world held on to their dreams until they came to fruition. Think of Thomas Edison. Had he not been obsessed with his search for light, we might still be living in the dark.

But can we learn abundance?

Is it possible to change our thinking?

As noted earlier, manifesting is a process and it begins with asking ourselves what it is we want to manifest in our lives. This is not always easily answered. First, we must assess our lives and ourselves honestly. Are we doing what we want to be doing? Or are we just doing what we think we’re supposed to do, or what is expected of us? If you find that you are doing only what you think you need to do or have to do, then it is time to make a change, particularly in your outlook.

Life seems chaotic and confusing to so many of us these days. We put our energy every day into all those things we think we have to do, or need to do. We get bogged down in the mundane and lost in the chaos. Before long we are merely surviving as we have forgotten how to live. Manifestation can be the tool you need to pull yourself from the chaos.

For these reasons, many Americans fail to ask themselves these questions to their own future detriment. Rather, they decide to set their sights on making as much money as they possibly can and assume that the rest will simply take care of itself. Unfortunately, much later in life, these people come to realize that money did not solve all their problems and that it has, in fact, failed to satisfy or fulfill them. Oftentimes, money serves only to satisfy the needs of those around us and leaves the money makers feeling empty and wanting more.

A common choice that many Americans make when faced with these overwhelming career options, is to just try to make as much money as possible in what they choose to do. They think that if they do that, everything else will take care of itself in time. But it will not and most end up realizing this much later in life after much time has been wasted. Money does not equal fulfillment. It may satisfy your needs for a time, but sooner or later it will leave you feeling empty and looking for something else.

In the final analysis, the manifesting process is simple.

Manifesting is an easy process.

In the end, these techniques convey a simple messageyou should not be satisfied with the status quo. Again, we quote Thomas Edison who said, ‘Show me a thoroughly satisfied man and I will show you a failure.’ Edison understood that most people had to strife to fulfill their dreams. He was living proof of that fact. He was smart enough to know that life is filled with joy and pain, successes and failure; and that satisfaction was simply another word for indifference. He never stopped striving and neither should you.

*Put your attention on your objective and keep a positive mind-set. Think only of your accomplishments.

*Take steps to bring your dreams to reality. Take the risks necessary to make them happen.

Manifesting contains one simple truth: you do not need to be satisfied with what is, because when you believe there is more, you will find that there is more. Thomas Edison once said, Show me a thoroughly satisfied man and I will show you a failure’. He recognized that to fulfill our dreams we had to work hard and stay focused on our objective. He understood that there would always be ups and downs, joy and pain, success and failure, but in the end it was about continuing forward, toward our dreams and aspirations.
